The special Set of Stamps EUROMED are issued every year with a common theme by all countries surrounded by the Mediterranean sea, celebrating postal cooperation between countries and the strengthening of their historical and cultural ties through the promotion of philately.

This year’s theme is «Handcraft jewelry in the Mediterranean» and the Hellenic Post has chosen to display the eminent samples of the Greek jewels chosen from the Benaki Museum as well as the Byzantine and Christian Museum’s collection.

All the countries’ stamps are taking part in an online contest. Click on the link and vote for the Greek entry! The contest ends on October 12nd.
