The restrictions imposed on airmail transports worldwide, as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, also have an impact on mail transportation.
For the time being, airmail of all types of postal items is temporarily suspended to almost all countries, except those listed in the table below, until a sufficient transport capacity is available. Respectively, many foreign countries have stopped sending postal items to Greece.
Despite the unprecedented circumstances, Hellenic Post closely collaborates with foreign postal operators in order to provide alternative ways of international mail transport, where possible.
