Savvas Dandolos - Chief Operating Officer

Savvas Dandolos is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering of the NTUA and holds an MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). In May 2010 he became the Chief Officer of the Postal Business Unit at ELTA SA and since May 2012 he has been the Chief Business Operations Officer of the company.  During this time period he has been responsible for the design and implementation of major restructuring programs aiming at improving substantially the quality measures in ELTA while at the same time they increase productivity and reduce costs.  His results include the achievement of all major quality objectives of ELTA for the first time in 2010, continuing in 2011 and 2012. Savvas joined ELTA in 2003 and until 2010 he was the Director of Strategy & Business Development. He was responsible for the Strategic and Operational Plan of ELTA, the development and implementation of the EU funded programs as well as Regulatory Affairs.  He has substantial knowledge and experience on the regulatory framework of the postal market in Greece having also been involved in the development of the 3rd Postal Directive at European level. During the same period he was also the Project Manager of the ELTA Sponsorship in the Athens Olympics 2004. His professional career began in 1989.  He has held a number of senior management positions in well-known companies as Technical Services & New Projects Manager, Technical Manager & Logistics Chain Director and Head of Sales & Marketing.

 

George Katris - Chief Commercial Officer

Graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Patras,   obtained his MBA in UK, Sheffield Business School - Sheffield Hallam University. He is a seasoned professional, serving for more than 20 years in managerial positions concerning Logistics Solutions & Applications, creating and developing new successful products in B2B environment, identifying and developing new business opportunities in EMEA Region. He has worked at UPS Greece since 1998. In 2007 he undertook the position of Business Development Manager for the Balkans, Cyprus and Israel until 2014 and immediately afterwards he has served as the Supply Chain Solutions Manager in EMEA Region, based in Brussels until 2018. He has expertise in Project Management, Key Account Management and Business Forecasting & Budgeting as well as in Waste Compliance Management for the proper handling of Waste of Electrical & Electronic Equipments in the Supply Chain flows of goods. He has developed communication skills able to build strong and sustainable strategic alliances & partnerships. Languages: English, French

Georgios Magoulas - Chief Information Officer

Georgios has a bachelor degree in Business Administration by the California State University and holds an MBA by the Athens University of Business and Economics. He has completed a Leadership Excellence program for senior executives in IMD University Switzerland and οnly recently he completed two intensive executive programs on Cyber Security Strategy and Digital Business Strategy by Harvard University and MIT respectively. He is certified in Governance of Enterprise Information Technology (CGEIT) and in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC) by the international Information Systems Audit & Control Association (ISACA). He brings more than 20 years of experience in IT Strategic Planning, Digital Transformation, IT Program Office Management, IT Performance Management, Information Systems Governance, Risk & Compliance, Cyber Risk & Security, IT Outsourcing, IT Financial Planning. George has held senior regional and local positions in reputable organizations in the Consulting, FMCG, Banking, Shipping, Manufacturing such as Grant Thornton, Coca-Cola, Selonda, Eurobank etc. in Europe and USA.

Vassilis Papadopoulos – Chief Financial Officer

He is a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Department of Economics. Father of two children, 21 and 18 years old. With more than 27 years of experience in the economic field Vassilis Papadopoulos has substantial knowledge and expertise on cost accounting, product profitability analysis, investment valuation and operating expenses management. Since 2000 he has held Chief Financial Officer and Deputy General Manager positions at multinational corporations and Greek organizations such as Benckiser Hellas Chemicals S.A. initially as a Controller for Austria, based in Salzburg for 12 months, subsequently as an Internal Audit Manager for Central & Western Europe & North America based in Amsterdam and finally as CFO of Reckittbenckiser Hellas consolidated company. He switched at TUI Hellas S.A. for nine years and then at the Sarakakis Group for four years as CFO.  Prior to ELTA SA, he was the Chief Financial Officer of AMVYX SA, the oldest, spirits import, marketing and sales company in Greece.
