Savvas Dandolos - Chief Commercial Officer

Savvas Dandolos was born in Athens in 1963. He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering of the NTUA and holds an MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).

In May 2010 he became the Chief Officer of the Postal Business Unit at ELTA SA and since May 2012 he has been the Chief Business Operations Officer of the company.  During this time period he has been responsible for the design and implementation of major restructuring programs aiming at improving substantially the quality measures in ELTA while at the same time they increase productivity and reduce costs.  His results include the achievement of all major quality objectives of ELTA for the first time in 2010, continuing in 2011 and 2012. 

Savvas joined ELTA in 2003 and until 2010 he was the Director of Strategy & Business Development. He was responsible for the Strategic and Operational Plan of ELTA, the development and implementation of the EU funded programs as well as Regulatory Affairs.  He has substantial knowledge and experience on the regulatory framework of the postal market in Greece having also been involved in the development of the 3rd Postal Directive at European level. During the same period he was also the Project Manager of the ELTA Sponsorship in the Athens Olympics 2004.

His professional career began in 1989.  He has held a number of senior management positions in well-known companies as Technical Services & New Projects Manager, Technical Manager & Logistics Chain Director and Head of Sales & Marketing.     


Agelos Protopsaltis - General Manager, Energy Business Unit

Born in 1957 in Keratsini, Piraeus. Graduated from the Ionidios School of Piraeus in 1975. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Patras and worked as a scientific associate in the Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics and Aerodynamics until 1992. Founder and CEO of speed craft's design and construction firm Planatech SA.  He has been worked since 2011 as a management consultant in large organizations such as Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company (EYDAP S.A.), Thessaloniki Water Supply & Sewerage Company (EYATH S.A.), Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund’s (HRADF's).

Spyros Sianos - Chief Business Operations Officer

He holds a BA degree in Economics from New York University's Queens College, and a Masters Degree (MBA) with specialization in Finance and Investment from New York City University (Baruch College). In the past he has been employed by Hellenic Post SA as Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Managing Director, as a Business Consultant at Deloitte Business Solutions (Athens), as Financial Advisor to EFG Eurobank as well as a member of WES (New York).

He specializes in strategic and business planning, development management and optimization of production models, preparation / evaluation of operating models, mapping and modeling of processes, cCost bBenefits analyzesanalysis, development of financial models, etc.

Through his professional experience in the field of consulting he has worked in the field of wWholesale and rRetail tTrade in the sector of tTourism, cConstruction and bBanking and has worked closely with general government agencies to carry out strategic project business operation studies operation.

Evaggelos Tzimos - Chief Support Operations Officer

Giannis Verigos - General Manager, Human Resources

Born in the Lassithi Plateau, of Crete, in 1962. He is married and he is father of two adult children. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Law School Athens University, Department of Economics and Political Sciences and he is member of the Economic Chamber of Greece.

He has been working in Hellenic Post since 1985 and has previously been involved in trade union activities for 29 years, of which 19 were as a member of the Executive Committee of the Pan-Hellenic Postal Federation and as Deputy Chairman for six years. From 1998 to 2008 He he has served as a member of the Board of Directors in KEK-ELTA SA and for six 6 years he held the position of the Executive Director in the BoD. He has extensive experience in Human Resources development and management, as well as in vocational education and training of the Employees, since he has worked as a consultant and a trainer of Balkan Postal Organizations executives in the training of newly recruited staff in the company and. He has participated in three world conferences of UNI , two pan-European and several committees of UNI Europa Post & Logistics. From August 2016 until today, he holds the position of General Manager of Human Resources in the company.
