Mr. Iordanis Iordanides holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Ioannina and an MSc in Computer Science from Cardiff University in the UK.
He has extensive experience in managerial positions in Greece and abroad, mainly in information technology and procurement. He began his career in Manchester, UK, as a systems analyst and later as a consultant at GAP-Gemini Hoskyns. Upon returning to Greece, he served as an R&D manager and IT consultant in private sector companies before joining the OTE Group, initially as an IT executive and later as an Internal Auditor, holding CISM (ISACA) and CPA (IPA-UK) certifications. He has served as an IT Security Manager, IT Business Continuity Manager, and CIO at a subsidiary of the OTE Group abroad before transitioning to procurement, where he was responsible for strategic IT project procurement, coordinating IT procurement projects between the OTE Group and DT-BuyIn, and overseeing the transformation of procurement flows and coordination between OTE and Deutsche Telecom.
He has gained experience in various operational functions, including project management, IT management, strategic planning, and procurement transformation.
